Dental Membership Terms

This Dental Membership Policy applies to patients enrolled in the Dental Membership Programme at St Paul Medical and Dental.
Our aim is to provide clear, fair, and transparent terms in line with CQC expectations and UK consumer protection law, including the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (CCR).
1. What This Membership Is
This is a dental-only membership designed to help patients spread costs and access discounted dental care.
❗ This membership does not include medical services, GP consultations, diagnostics, or health screening.
2. Who Can Join
You can join if you:
- Live in the United Kingdom
- Are aged 18 or over (or a parent/guardian enrolling a minor)
- Provide accurate personal and dental information
We may refuse or end membership if eligibility criteria are not met.
3. Membership Benefits (Dental Only)
Members receive:
- 50% off eligible dental treatments, calculated against standard non-member prices
- Priority booking for dental appointments (subject to availability)
- Access to member-only dental offers and promotions
What Is Not Included
This membership does not cover:
- Medical consultations or GP services
- Specialist medical referrals
- Medical tests, blood tests, scans, or health screening
Any medical services are charged separately at standard rates.
4. Fees and Payment
- Membership fees are payable monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected
- A valid payment method must be kept on file
- If payment fails, membership benefits may be suspended until resolved
We may change fees with reasonable advance notice.
5. Minimum Term & Cancellation
5.1 Minimum Commitment
All memberships have a 12-month minimum term from the start date.
This means:
- Fees remain payable for 12 months
- This applies whether or not services are used
This complies with UK contract law for subscription services.
5.2 Cancellation Rules
You may cancel by:
- Giving at least 2 months' written notice
- Emailing info@stpaulmd.co.uk or writing to the clinic address
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the minimum term or notice period, whichever is later.
❌ No refunds are given for:
- Partial months
- Missed appointments
- Unused benefits
5.3 Early Cancellation or Non-Payment
If you cancel early or stop payments without meeting the minimum term, you agree to:
- Repay any discounts already received, recalculated at standard prices
- Pay remaining membership fees for the 12-month term
- Cover reasonable administration or recovery costs, if applicable
Unpaid balances may be referred to a licensed debt-recovery agency.
5.4 Termination by the Clinic
We may suspend or end membership if there is:
- Breach of these terms
- Non-payment or chargeback attempts
- False or misleading information
- Abusive or inappropriate behaviour toward staff
Outstanding fees for the minimum term will still be payable.
6. Your Responsibilities
As a member, you agree to:
- Provide accurate personal information
- Attend appointments responsibly
- Follow clinic policies
- Treat staff with respect
Failure to do so may result in suspension or termination.
7. Data Protection
Your personal data is handled securely in line with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.
You may request access to or correction of your data at any time, subject to clinical record-keeping laws.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be published on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.
Continued use of the membership means you accept the updated terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid under the membership relating to the issue in question.
